With a shisha always in hand, he spent his days seated at a café, retelling favorite stories and cracking jokes. Today, Derwandi unites the best of this much-loved personality with a love of Lebanese food and a passion for sharing it with our Abu Dhabi community from the heart of the city, the Corniche.\r\n\r\nAl-Darwandi and his love of life, a good meal, and a sweet Friday made him the star of the Lebanese program “Al-Dinya Heik” in the early seventies. Spending his days with coffee, Argelito tells stories and jokes with his Edo. Today, Al Darwandi combines a digestible personality with a passion for Lebanese food and a love to share it with everyone in Abu Dhabi, from the heart of the city on the Corniche.
